Hamilton Barnes was founded by Nick & George in a cupboard back in May 2014. Their goal was simple - to become the go-to recruitment consultancy in the Network Engineering space. Our focus has allowed us to attract customers and staff, develop long-term relationships with clients and create strong market awareness of our offering.
Since hiring our first two full-time employees after six months, we’ve grown exponentially to a current headcount of 100+ working across multiple international markets...

When I joined Hamilton Barnes in September 2023 as a Network Consultant, I never could have imagined how much I would grow in such a short space of time. Fast forward a year, and I was leading the IP UK team. Now, in 2025, I’m managing my own team and have also expanded into a new market—broadcasting. This journey hasn’t been about luck—it’s been about passion, hard work, and the incredible support I’ve received along the way. "I joined Hamilton Barnes in 2022 as the first talent acquisition hire. Starting out, I focused on hiring for our UK office, but it became clear that the company's growth needed a broader approach. I was eager to take on the challenge, and the opportunities here allowed me to do just that. Before joining, I completed my degree in Business and Human Resource Management at the University of Portsmouth. This experience equipped me with the essential skills to excel in talent acquisition. I dove into internal recruitment, working closely with departments to build the best teams. The fast-paced environment and ambitious goals of the company kept me motivated.
