Joining Hamilton Barnes in 2022, I had a clear vision from day one: to move to Malaysia and start my own market there. The company trusted my vision and supported me in every way possible to explore the market. Their belief in my potential was a huge motivator. I committed myself fully to this goal, working insane hours to make it happen. I would get into the office at 6am to align with the APAC time zone and stay until 6pm. The long hours and hard work were challenging, but I was driven by my dream. Eventually, my efforts paid off. I built the market big enough to open our own office in Malaysia. Within a year, we had a fully operational office there. Now, at the age of 25, I manage an office in Malaysia with a team of over 10 people. One of my proudest achievements is being the fastest to ever get promoted to team leader, reaching this milestone in less than two years, whereas the average duration is between three to four years. This accomplishment reflects the incredible opportunities Hamilton Barnes offers for those willing to work hard and pursue their vision. My journey has been nothing short of amazing. The company’s trust and support, combined with my determination, made it all possible. I'm excited about the future and eager to continue growing and succeeding with this incredible team.

I joined Hamilton Barnes in 2024 as the first female hire in Malaysia. Initially, I started with data entry, but I quickly developed a passion for other aspects of the business. Before long, I found myself heading up social events in the office, which was incredibly fulfilling. This role allowed me to connect with my colleagues on a deeper level and contribute to the positive office culture. My interest in people and building relationships naturally led me to take on internal recruitment. Within just three months, I had a new role and additional responsibilities, reflecting the company’s commitment to helping employees pursue their passions and grow within the organisation.
