Joining the company has been one of the most transformative experiences of my career. As the first American hire, and also the first female US hire, I had the incredible opportunity to start my journey in the UK office. Meeting the team and getting to know everyone at the London HQ was an unforgettable experience that laid a strong foundation for my adventure in the Texas office. Before joining the company, I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations and Supply Chain Management at Marquette University. This academic background provided me with a solid foundation in business principles and practices, although I had no previous experience in this industry. The incredible in-house training, as well as the supportive environment, made all the difference. The mentorship I received from my manager, Sam, was exceptional – he took the time to guide me, answer all my questions, and share his expertise, which helped me grow both professionally and personally. My journey with the company began ten years ago when I was still at university, starting with a placement that would shape my future in ways I never imagined. As the second hire of the business, I had the unique opportunity to grow alongside the company from its early days. After graduating, I joined full-time and immersed myself in the enterprise market. Early in my career, I saw immense potential for our business in the USA and decided to pursue that vision. It wasn't easy, but through hard work and determination, I started to build out my market. The support and resources provided by the company were instrumental in this process. As the market grew, so did my responsibilities – I began hiring for my team, selecting individuals who shared our vision and drive. Fast forward eight years, and I had successfully built a robust team. Together, we took on the challenge of opening our first international office in Austin, Texas. This was a huge step for the company, and seeing our efforts come to fruition was incredibly rewarding. Today, I lead a team of over 20 individuals, and I am proud to have become a Senior Vice President before the age of 30. This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, and it has been made possible by the company’s unwavering support, belief in my vision, and commitment to fostering leadership.
